Indian Council of Agricultural Research

Indian Council of Agricultural Research has the general body, which is headed by the Minister of Agricultural, Government. It includes the members such as Minister of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries and senior officers of the various state Governments.

However the Director General who is regarded as the head of the council is assisted by eight Deputy Directors General. On the other hand, in administration department, the DG is assisted by the Secretary, who handles dual designation as he is also the secretary to the DARE, Government of India. And in the financial matters, he is assisted further by the Financial Advisor.
